Somewhere in Turkey there's a hilltop spring called Pamukkale. The water that flows from the hill is extremely rich in minerals, which over time have gradually deposited themselves to create a giant rock formation that coats the surface of the entire hill. The end result is nicknamed the "Cotton Castle", because of its bright white color and because of the texture of the rock giving it a cotton-like foamy appearance. Honestly, it doesn't seem too interesting in concept... until you actually see it. The scene it creates looks like it could be a massive set piece from some sort of outlandish fantasy movie. Just take a look for yourself... Pamukkale in Hierapolis, Turkey.
