A fire rainbow is a very, very, very rare atmospheric phenomenon. Despite their name, there's no fire involved (which is actually unfortunate, because that would be pretty badass). They are rainbows, however, and their name is derived from the fact that they sometimes resemble flames. How exactly they are formed isn't really important, but chances are you'll never see one in person. Lucky for you, you can see them below. Fire Rainbows

Are you sure that last one is anything special, because we get a surprising amount of rainbows here in Ottawa, and I've seen that before.
