I never knew that one guy had been translating Matsuno's work since Vagrant Story. I've always noticed that it kept the same style, couldn't place it because how often does on person translate one othe persons work throughout. Although was that the same guy who did the remake of Tactics? While most people deride the new translation I always thought it fit in well with the rest of his work.

FF Tactics: War of the Lions was translated by a different team, but they tried to emulate A.O. Smith's style. I think they got TOO flowery on occasion, but it's also comprehensible in the way that the original's wasn't, so it's still the superior version by far.

Huh, I'd never even heard of the Guild-O1 series. But now I'm definitely interested.
