I KNOW I've seen the cover of Martian Gothic before (with the screaming astronauts) but not in the stores. Wait, I remember! Audio Atrocities!

Yessssss I love Audio Atrocities. First thing I thought of when I saw the article.
Gotta love that old school survival horror voice acting.

Never knew the team of this game was the same as Dreamweb! I gave up the Windows version in frustration but I may be interested in trying the PS1 one thanks to emulation save states and lower difficulty. Its suffering from the "great ideas, mediocre execution" syndrome and from adapting what should have been an adventure into a survival horror was evident. I'd so much love a remake (although I'm afraid it would veer more to action, given the current tendency).
That German cover... oh my °_°

The German cover WAS the U.S. PlayStation cover. Speaking of which, the text on the German Windows cover reads "Three Lives, A Plague, A Future" (roughly)

All I remember about this game is the dinky little kick attack your characters did and how the zombies kind of looked like Data from Star Trek.

A little typo in the article: I suspect that "Sponge-bullets" in paragraph 11 is probably intended to be "bullet sponges." Otherwise, very good article.

Gotta love that old school survival horror voice acting. That one character, Kenzo, has the most flat delivery I've ever heard. But reading his character profile, it sounds like it's justifiable as mellowness. Well, a little, anyway. The game itself sounds kind of interesting. Oh, and I <3 Audio Atrocities, too. Wish it would update more often...

I've heard the name before. I always confuse this game with that Ultima Martian Dreams game. I have never played either of them.
