Operation wolf like games are always full of unfair situations with attacks that are unavoidable in Single player. This is the reason why I like Point Blank and House of the Dead series since all the levels are do able and have attacks you can avoid with practice. Though western made light gun shooters are always full of cheap unavoidable attacks, terminator Salvation if you get to good at it without taking damage it throws attacks that are impossible to avoid and i Think same dev made a Walking Dead game for arcades. That seems to have no blood what so ever and takes like half your life for shooting a innocent yet reward for saving them was like a 2% health back making saving them pointless.

Konami is turning 50 or something? Imagine if they’d actually celebrate it somehow, with actual game releases or something...
On a different note: I wish Sony would show us the PS5 soon. All these fan mock-ups are impossibly ugly and are all over thumbnails on youtube. They look fairly realistic too, which makes it even worse to look at. Some video game fans may have excellent photoshop skills, but actual designers they are not...

Well, Konami is going to release Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 4 later this year. That's pretty cool.

What is this? Looks like an old-fashioned kinda rip-off of the old Silent Hill and Resident Evil games. Nothing special. And where is that zombie granny, or whatever that thing from the thumbnail is? While I don't like too much that artist's style, whoever they are, it's a very nice homage. Though I don't understand why some characters were rendered in a "realistic" way (such as the absurdly muscular Konami Man) while others stayed cartoony. The Yie Ar Kung Fu dude is even still pixelated!

It's been announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment of Spain and also is a part of the PlayStation Talents Initiative as it was developed at the Valencia PlayStation Games Camp by Brok3nsite. Maybe that's why. Older generation's nostalgia aside, i doubt many from the younger circles gonna pick that up, but you never know.

Been working my way through the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Mirror cups and once again realized I may have been doing the cups out of order. I was doing the top row of cups first.

I was watching a trailer for Death End Re:Quest 2 and it looked like a lot of fun(I obviously wanted to play the first one). Are any of the other IF\Compile Heart RPG's worth it for turn based games, or should I look for copies of the Xenosaga trilogy? I played Fairy Fencer F,by the way. It's really hard to find PS1\PS2 styled turn-based J-RPGS these days.

I haven't played a IF/Compile Heart game I've liked. Then again Xenosaga 1 and 2 bored me to tears so much I couldn't get around to 3 (which I hear is actually good).
I think the Atelier series is a good PS1/PS2 style JRPG series. The Dusk trilogy is the highlight and just got rereleased. I'm playing through Atelier Ryza as well and it's great. The previous Mysterious trilogy games aren't the best.
You could also try Alliance Alive which got a remaster and I hear is pretty good.
Plenty of good stuff on 3DS with the highlights for me being the Shin Megami Tensei games, Strange Journey, SMT 4 and SMT apocalypse.
Think any of them would be better than a IF/Compile Hearts game.

I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear are also explicitly PS1 style games. Tokyo RPG Factory's third game Oninaki is also good, but an action-RPG.

I have a game on PS4 called Battle Chasers: Nightwar which I haven’t played yet but on the back it says ”Classic turn-based JRPG combat inspired by the console RPG greats”. Could be fun?

Interesting premise but terrible terrible game play. Fairy Fencer F is better despite both games using the same Idea Factory engine.
