Don't you just hate it? I've got nothing to play whatsoever Except a copy of ZX that probably wont be here for a month because amazon is fucking stupid. It was fun, I could work on my own game And then I get banned from the forum I was getting help with making it for "Thinking abortion should be legal" Nothing to do, Nothing to play. Roguelikes tided me over for awhile Until I got bored with them
Share your depressed rantings about nothing to play and the state of the game market and or reccomend old games/roms/freeware to eachother.
God help me, I'm about to play Star Ocean till the end of time

I can't find a game that I can't put down anymore. Most games I lose intrest in fast and put down for awhile and don't go back to for weeks.

The last game that did that for me was Oblivion, and that was months ago.

"Mazinsaga's got 3 games for you to play!"
Man, if YOU'RE bored of playing games then it means it's time to stop playing for a few days. Just stop playing games, go outside, get some exercise, do something other than playing games. Then when you go back to playing games you'll be good as new.

Those are mostly archival. besides the last ones are the latest games i've played Plus, it's not so much that i'm tired of playing anything, It's that I've played everything.

Any time you start "forcing" things, is when you can easily burn out. Do other things with your time, and when you're recharged and ready to come back, do so. But to force yourself now you'll likely burn out

"Nothing to play"? Does not compute. o_O I got such a backlog of games I'd like to play through that I probably won't get to some till retirement. That's why I don't even bother with most new games. In this current generation, I've gotten maybe around... 5 games brand new right after their release. And I haven't bought many used current generation games either. I figure there's little point because unless I'm really determined to play them immediately, they're just going to sit around for years unplayed and depreciate in value. Maybe in 5 years or so I'll start loading up when all the games that interest me can be had for under 10 or 20 bucks.

Hhe, I am in a worryingly similar situation...the only thing is I keep getting scared I am going to miss getting a game that will end up super rare, like the original uk edition of Ico or Panzer Dragoon Saga or something like that... I do mainly buy current gen games used or on Ebay and try to get them at a fraction of the RRP (usually a few months or a couple of years after release). At the moment I just have an insane amount of games I need to play through and trying to force myself into finishing them in between work and my social life would probably just make me resent the game more.

BLASPHEMY! You spelled "masturbate" wrong! Anyway, I've been a little burned out too for a while, I've been getting all these great games but I haven't gotten into a game for a while. Gotta lay of using the computer for a while, except for school work.
