www.hardcoregaming101.net/holosseum/holosseum.htmThe follow-up to Time Traveler (which was released on DVD and was a perpetual inhabitant of the bargain bins at Gamestop for years), this is fighting game that used some interesting technology to make the fighters appear to be holograms. Unfortunately the game is garbage.

Nice article. I love weird, it's always interesting to see what companies managed to come up with that' more interesting than the usual screen.
A couple of things "star of the game: The visual presentation" > the "The" is capitalised. The link to this thread is not implemented, which seems to be the case with the other new articles as well. I imagine you're going to do it, so maybe I spoke too son.

I don't think I've ever heard of that game before, but I HAVE heard of Time Traveler. I think I played it as a little kid in the local arcade (back when we had one... ;_;). It scared me because it used, like, graphics of REAL people!

I actually don't think it's that bad. The controls are very responsive and remind me of Mitchell's The Karate Tournament. The four characters are animated amazingly well, and they even bothered to draw unique reflection graphics for every frame of animation. Every character even has two special moves. The only serious problems are the lack of content and the limited gameplay.
I think this would be a good game to show to someone who's never played a fighter before in their lives, just to give them a taste of what it's all about without feeling overwhelmed.
I know that Canobie Lake Park in Massachusetts still had an operational Time Traveler cabinet about five years ago. Wonder if it's still there.
