I can't be the only one who's shit pantsed over this game. Not only is the producer insanely hot (Jade Raymond) But the game just looks amazing. and The Controls sound innovative.
There is one thing about the game bugging me and that's this twist people are talking about
News has also circulated about a 'sci-fi twist', due to information from developer interviews, and some effects visible in trailers of the game. It is theorized that the historical setting may be a simulation, for purposes of training or other gain, being undertaken by an unknown group in the future. During a trailer shown at E3, the screen would glitch and go fuzzy at times, and at one point where Altair is killed, the screen fades to black and then shows a head's up display with the words 'computer offline'. Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed will be part of a trilogy, and has also stated that one or both of the sequels will have a futuristic setting.
I hope the first game isn't just some Simulation that would take way too much away from it.

Ugh, also, why is it still "news" that this being a simulation is a "twist?" It was all but spelled out when the game was originally (then called Project Assassin) announced for the 360. It's done in this context so that they can create a series where they put the same type of gameplay into different eras.

Because people want to "be" a kick-ass medieval assassin, not "pretend" to be one. "Bah", I say to them "go play thief!" but I kind of get why they are disappointed. The disutopian future setting has been done to death, with or without virtual reality simulation tutorials.

Who cares about the news, I've already heard about this: Let's dalk about that Jade Raymond. Like Violating her with the Wiimote? There's one other problem I may have with Assassin's Creed. if it's the POP Sands of time staff this game's gonna be hard as fuck.
