I have been looking for good or obscure 2-D platformers, adventure or action adventure games, action games, and beat-em-ups for SNES/SFC and NES/Famicom. I am not asking for run 'n' gun games or arcade style platformers like Donkey Kong. I have played probably everything for NES/Famicom, and probably almost everything for SNES/SFC, so I am looking mostly for obscurities. Recommended obscurities:
Super Ninja-Kun (SFC) ~ Part of a series of games generaly refered to as Jajamaru Ninja-Kun. It is pretty good, and recommended to anybody looking for a obscure platformer.
Hamelin no Violin Tamaki (SFC) ~ Fantastic platformer.
Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (Famicom) ~ Excellent platformer with that infant from Parodius.
Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun (Famicom) ~ Very good Castlevania parody platformer game with that vampire from Parodius.
Yume Penguin Monogatari (Famicom) ~ Awesome platformer that is part of a series of games of different genres that all have a penguin. Also has that penguin from Parodius.
Do-Re-Mi Fantasy - Milon no DokiDoki Daibouken (SFC) ~ Good platformer.
Kero Kero Keroppi no Daibouken 2 - Donuts Ike ha Oosawagi! (Famicom) ~ Playable platformer.
Go Go Ackman 1-3 (SFC) ~ Playable platformer series.
Out of this World (SNES) ~ My favorite traditional adventure game.
Blackthorne (SNES) ~ Kind of like if Flashback was a action adventure game rather than a adventure game.
Also, is Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for GBA good? I am rather fond of that series' early games, but I have not played that game.
And why should I care about Zelda for SNES or GB? I have tried both of these, but they did not interest me. Should I have invested more time into these?
Any other good or just worth playing games of these four genres? They do not have to be obscurities, but like I said, that is mostly what I am looking for.
