Wow, I'm surprised to see this on here. I remember playing the shareware episode way back when and really enjoying it, but I could never figure out how you were supposed to buy the damn thing. Then again, I was like 10 or so.

Glad to see this sucker covered. One of those neat random shareware first person shooters that you'd just kind of stumble on, either on a CD or through 3DGamers (I loved the hell out of that site back in the day). Kind of wish the author did some more digging into its background. Chris Snyder from MVP Software previously pointed out the problems with making it freely available, so it would be neat if someone actually tracked down anyone from Escape Programming to get their blessing and/or just find out more about the development of it. Also, if the author is going to bring up the ALT+ENTER issues with playing it through DOSbox (since it was a DOS-based game), then he may as well propose the solution of using the mapper function to resolve it. As clunky as it was, toggling between fullscreen and window just wasn't a problem back then and DOSbox makes it possible to keep it from being a problem now. But that's just me nitpicking. Again, super glad to see this covered.

I woulda mentioned the mapper function, but....well, I didn't know about it. I'm not terribly DOSbox savvy...aheheh....
I agree that it'd be neat to know more about its development, though I doubt I'll be the one to do it. I'm still trying to get interviews for Killing Time, which is already pretty difficult as it is...
