I've been browsing through ten pages and also been trying my best using the search function as well as google, but I couldn't find any thread for this article yet: www.hardcoregaming101.net/ballymidway/ballymidway.htmSorry if there already has been one. For one thing, this particular line struck me as pretty odd: Aren't sports gamers pretty much the most graphics-oriented gamers, generally spoken? Or they at least tend to care about graphics a lot more than fans of most other genres. But that's not the reason I opened up this thread. For Arch Rivals it says there has also been a Genesis version, yet the article doesn't even mention it in its comparison section, nor does it feature a single screenshot. There's only a scan of the US cover. I'd like to know about this version as well, when the Arcade, NES and Game Gear versions are already being compared to each other. That's one of the things I come to HG101 for, actually.

Hey there.
The whole 'graphics' thing was personally the way I saw things. I know most sports games in modern times put a big emphasis on the graphics, but if we're talking NES/SNES/Genesis, not so much.
Also, yes, I'm aware there was a Genesis version. I don't know how I forgot about it in the original article, and I apologize. When I've got time with school and such going on, I'll write something up for it.

Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to what you have to say about the Genesis version.

Sadly, due to it being a Williams game, Blitz's actual ancestor, High Impact (and later, Super High Impact, which was Midway-branded), ends up unmentioned.
Just as well, though, because they were terrible games.
