Holy cow that's some serious stuff you've got right there. I really wonder how you came to own all of this - aren't all of these super-rare? A copy of Eastern Mind alone is like $400+ on eBay so this must have required both money and dedication.
By the way, would you mind sharing the biography you mention with us? There is very little information about Sato's life on the Internet, so that would definetely be interesting.

Its a combination of luck, some tip offs (this linen sampler for example) and great auctioneers who responded inside a minutes time to HEY PLEASE BID ME UP I PUT IN MONEY to one of the copies of chu teng. The windows version was advertised as available from 'compudsgn' or 'bored guy' if i recall and was all over it. And that guy selling tong nou on ebay is a douche i got him down to 300 without trying, its really worth in the 150 range. But anyway a lot of right place, right time. And flagged for any products come out of osamu sato with couriers and ebay. They come from france, netherlands, greece, japan, japan, japan, and japan. I have about.. ~2k invested in everything I have. I predict it to be worth about triple, but priceless sitting on a tray with other collectables in my time. Please use agent.seaserve.jp/, they are super awesome.

Wow, that's really neat, thanks! The fact that he learned color composition from a kimono dyeing master is really surprising.

Loading up polished translation of text and all other tidbits into the game, aligning the text will take some time so that would be left to a final release. Probs ~2weeks.

Bumping for continued interest. I don't know about others, but I would prefer that thread-bumping be reserved for times when you actually have things to contribute to the thread. Pointless bumps are irritating.

This is interesting and all, but I sort of feel like we've been colonized by 4chan.

This is interesting and all, but I sort of feel like we've been colonized by 4chan. I dunno. I think it's amusing how excited these people are getting over this shit. The Garbage thread on /vr/ is particularly hilarious with all of the backbiting. If I were cc0 I'd take advantage of the situation and get some of them to post humiliating dick pictures or something before telling them to fuck off.

Morgan Freeman, please leave. Also, I can't imagine what you guys are going through with all of that Macintosh emulation. Was it only on Mac?

Can someone please post a detailed guide on running a Mac emulator for a total Mac newbie ? I know I can't use Softmac so pretty much anything else would be appreciated.
I did managed to get Vmac Mini to work but it doesn't recognise the image, which is probably cause of it being originally a CD image and whatnot.

Don't waste your time setting up the emulator yourself - there is an "Osamu Sato Collection" torrent lying around on the Internet that has everything you need. Straightforward, no-bullshit, ready-to-play packs - truly a gift from God.

That and I think half the conversation must be taking place over there.

I don't mean to be mean or anything, I just post on both boards. I feel that through co-operation we can achieve our goals. The only reason I go to HCG101 is that it's the only website about rare/obscure games and gaming history that's not about collectors. Like Nintendo age. I also feel most of you are far more experienced than any person from /vr/. Still, I don't mean to be making a mix, I just feel that both communities have something cool to offer. For instance, I recently made that thread about old gaming cartoons. Wouldn't it be cool if someone made an article tracing the history of that! Also, I will post the Osamu Sato torrent if I can find it again!
