I've already got a 360, but I am looking forward to the other 2 systems as well. However, money and region issues may keep me from purchasing either one at launch.
I'm a bit worried about Nintendo, though; their last two home consoles have been pretty disappointing for me, and I think the DS is succeeding in spite of it's unique features, rather than because of them.

If Nintendo wasn't even trying to do what they ARE trying to do, I would probably not even bother with the next gen until 2008.
But since they are actually trying something unique and interesting, I have to throw my support behind it. PS3 looks like a lot of the most mediocre crap about the PS2 but with better graphics (bleh), and while I WANT to like the 360, it just isn't coming out with the kinds of games I want to play. (PS3 looks like it's coming out with the games I want to play eventually, but not for a few years, so I'll just wait for that price drop)
The Wii though..how can someone tell me that the Wii has a crappy launch, Red Steel, looks fun and at least its different, Zelda from what I hear is fantastic, as is Excite Truck, and all of their killer ap titles are coming out long before the PS3's does (MP3 in March VS MGS4 in sometime in 2007?), and even the usual crap (read: Madden) are trying to make the Wii experience unique.
And at $250...how can you go wrong?

Godamnit. The PS3 is going to fucking kickass. Don't let bad press put you aside.

I'm more excited about my newly acquired Virtual Boy and collecting games for it than anything of this next gen stuff, and I'm more impressed by the truly 3D effects in games like VB Wario Land and Mario's Tennis than by the shiny graphics of XBox 360/PS3 or the Wii-mote support of Wii games.
With that said, Infinite Undiscovery will force me to buy a 360, and I'm trying to get myself excited about the prospect by convincing myself that the 360 will get better Japanese support than the orignal XBox. Trusty Bell/Eternal Sonata looks pretty nice, but I'm seriously insulted that they're removing Chopin from the US version and making him just some random made-up composer in the game. While I can't lie to myself and believe that the targeted US audience is as sophisticated as the targeted Japanese audience, I'd still like to hope that Namco would think SOME American RPG players would be familiar with Chopin. I'm also keeping an eye on Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, but I don't know if they're my cup of tea.

Watch your eyes with that Virtual Boy Succubus, it feeds on them.

*scratches* I don't really see anything "next gen" besides improved graphics. I just want new games, that's all.

I really hope Infinite Undiscovery will get a port to the PS3, I can't resist Tri-Ace either. This team is the only good team left for Square-Enix, and when they are doing something good they are doing it REALLY GOOD. I'm playing now VP2 and it's such an amazing game.

I see the wii as a bastard consolized DS with region lock Hopefully it's a little more than that; with Nintendo shoving this "innovation" down our throats, I'd like to see it used in a way that's meaningful/not tacked on in many of the top games.
