The livecast is now available! Watch it here!Don't touch that dial, we're in for some gnarly 90s action in the only game brave enough to be endorsed by Captain Kirk himself: TekWar! William Shatner's Tekwar (DOS)PRO TIPPZ:Voting ended on April 1st. *NOTE*: When voting, please choose a game that you want to play - and will play - but have not beaten entirely or beaten recently, say, within the last 5 - 10 years. You may not vote for a game that you have played or spoiled within the last year! It's also best to vote for a game that you have not played before. All votes are final, so no going back if you change your mind. If you're going to vote, we'd like to have you along for the ride! Previous 3 GC9X Threads:

Welp, I was going to play Mother 1 eventually, so I'm gonna go ahead and vote for that.
EDIT: Will any version other than Earthbound Zero cut it? If it wins, I'm going to specifically play the translated Gameboy Advance version, since that will allow me to play on my iPad.

Eh, I'll vote for Mega Turrican. Been meaning to get into this series for a while. (on a side note, isn't that considered one of the lesser games in the series, or am i talking out of my ass?)

Mega Turrican is generally well regarded by the fan base, although there's debate on whether Turrican 2, Mega Turrican, or Super Turrican 2 is the best entry in the series.
Going to abstain from voting until the poll's up. Haven't really decided what I'd like to play yet.

Is voting back on the forums now, or why can't I find a link to the poll? Eh, I'll vote for Mega Turrican. Been meaning to get into this series for a while. (on a side note, isn't that considered one of the lesser games in the series, or am i talking out of my ass?) The thing is, Mega Turrican is one of the more straightforward games in the series, and I don't see it offering much material for GC9X.

Mega Turrican is quite good, though I have already played it. I'll abstain from voting, since I'm not in the mood for the other two. I will absolutely use this as an excuse to replay Mega Turrican if it wins though.

Is voting back on the forums now, or why can't I find a link to the poll? The poll wasn't ready when the thread was made. The poll is up now, though!Edit: Putting in my vote for Mega Turrican! Been years since I played, and the last time I beat it I used savestates.

After several RPG variants, a nice, breezy action game sounds good. Thus, my vote goes to Mega Turrican.

Hmmm, looks like I'm out on this one. Don't own the first two, and while I do have Code Veronica, I've never beaten any Resident Evil (yeah, yeah, I know) so if I was inclined to do so I'd start with the first.

I really need an excuse to finish Mega Turrican, so put me down for that, please.

I'm going for Mega Turrican myself.
I considered voting for Code: Veronica, but I'm not the classic Resi kinda guy, and I'm not interested in Mother.

So after a breezy vote, it looks like the winner is Moth...wait, something's not right with the poll results here... ...it can't be! It seems the Game of the Month for April is... WILLIAM SHATNER'S TEKWAR!
