Perhaps you'd enlighten us on the intricacies of Falcom's sound department? It says Sound Team jdk. Is that something different?
I guess I should explain myself a bit better. Falcom's PSP games usually have a file called "bgmtbl.tbl" (
here's for example how Ys Seven's looks like). The thing is, there's
something else on Nayuta no Kiseki's file.
This is how said file looks like in Nayuta:
Pay attention to these song codes (XP260a, xu071, etc) - this is literally the only Falcom game for the PSP with them. With a bit of Google-Fu, I found
this Chinese blog post - from what I understand with Google Translate, these song codes are suspected to actually be composer codes (this isn't exactly a novelty in Falcom games - Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys, albeit developed by Hudson Soft, contains suspected composer codes as well).
The blog poster seems to believe this:
XP:Hayato Sonoda (Falcom's current sound lead since 2001 or so - he succeded Hirofumi Matsuoka. Joined Falcom in 1997 and worked on pretty much every single Falcom game since the original Vantage Master.)
x
u: Takahiro
Unisuga (Been there since 2005 - debuted with Xanadu Next.)
X
S:
Saki Momiyama (Joined Falcom around 2008 - debuted with Zwei II.)
X
R:
Ryo Takeshita (Worked on Falcom Sound Team jdk from 2005 to 2007 on Sora no Kiseki/Trails in the Sky SC & The 3rd and Ys Origin.)
X
O: Masanori
Osaki (See Momiyama.)
The thing is... if you actually check out the songs and compare them, you'll notice that the music styles for these tracks are mostly constant - most of the XR tracks sound like something from Ys Origin or The 3rd (
this is pretty much
Masquerade of Lies 2) and his Deadball-P material (
does this sound familiar?), the XO tracks sound like something from Ys Seven,
most of the XP tracks sound quite similar (like something from FC, and very similar to tracks like
this too. Also
this =
this albeit different tempo), only the XS tracks use the
same synth guitar... I'm aware this is all pure speculation, but it sounds like the real deal for the most part (to me, at least).
But the real inconsistency lies on why the Nayuta no Kiseki's soundtrack has tracks supposedly composed by Takeshita and Osaki, considering the fact they leaved Falcom a few years ago. Maybe these are unused tracks from previous Falcom games? Or maybe they composed them before leaving Falcom? So many questions...

*Edit* Or, perhaps you were talking about the Sound Team jdk - jdk Band relation? "Sound Team jdk" is the name of Falcom's internal sound team - every Falcom game soundtrack is originally composed by them. Not to be confused with "jdk Band" - Falcom's in-house rock band back in the 90's that occasionally performed on arranged albums (and recently for some in-game tracks as well). They faded away for about a decade and were revived with a new line-up of performers in 2008 or so.
*Edit2* Here's a better picture of the game's logo:
