Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that we've decided to stop resting on our laurels and get cracking on the next episode. In keeping with our theme of picking "interesting" games that give us a lot to talk about, the next game has been decided as Metal Slug on the PS2. Yes, Metal Slug 3-D. The game is MOSTLY playable by way of emulation, it's not perfect but it works. Also, most of the text in the game is in English already despite only being released in Japan. Now, you don't have to play the game to participate (in fact, the format works better that way), but if you have, and you want to lend your voice to this episode, reply here or PM me and let me know! I don't have a date set for recording yet, but I do have the game and have tested it so I know it'll work for us when the time comes. If you have any other questions about the process here or the series in general, this is the place to do it!

Since nobody replied, I'll assume it's because you're all dumbfounded into silence. In case you needed a reminder of what we've been up to, here's the previous episode we put together with the help of Wildweasel, Bobinator, and Joestar.

Metal Slug 3D: a shitty 3D adaption of a great 2D game series that it was such a huge failure that they never bothered to localized it for the sake of humanity. Then again SNK Playmore never bothered with great games as well like Twinkle Star Sprites - La Petite Princesse with the excuse that it was too girlie for macho western players. The irony? Years laters they released worldwide Trouble Witches Neon for XBLA.

I'm interested in babbling incoherently about this.

But yes, this is basically the kind of reaction I'm looking for with these games. I mean, some will be actually good ones, but the important thing is that they evoke a reaction of some kind, whether positive or negative. I want people who are actually passionate about loving/hating this shit, lol. Yep, I've added you to the list. So unless anybody objects to recording this weekend, it'll be myself, Wildweasel, Joestar, Tarsier, and MrArgent.

Actually that's the only reason I'm hanging onto my 360, the voice acting is god-tier. "Purinsessu Sakuruako isu redii! Ai amu becamu WEE-tch!" Oh and on topic, looking forward to this. Never played the game, but have been interested in seeing how well (badly?) it worked out.
