www.hardcoregaming101.net/gremlins/gremlins.htmThere are quite a lot of games based on Joe Dante's two fun monster movies. For now we're only covering the Gremlins 2 adaptions by Sunsoft, but there'll be more around Christmas. UPDATE: Back when we posted coverage of Sunsoft's Gremlins 2 titles, we promised more gremlin goodness for Christmas, and here it is. Except "goodness" may not always be the mot juste. (Spoiler: The NES game is still the best.) But have fun, anyway...

You guys planning on mentioning the cancelled Atari arcade game? Now that you brought it to our attention, we will. Thanks for the link!

Nice article. Had Gremlins 2 for the NES; it was one of my favorite games. Sunsoft was really at it's best during that game's era.
There's also a Gremlins 2 game for the Amiga, which was made by Elite, and it "feels" quite the same as one of their other titles, Dr. Franken for the Game Boy.

Oh I remember this NES game. An event in my life happened with it. I rented the game one weekend and had trouble getting it to work right. I ended up trying to get it to work by repeatedly hitting the top of the NES console with my hand and ended up damaging it. I believe the dust guard for the system was what was damaged. Whatever the case I was grounded for a week for no video games and we had to buy another NES.

No mention of in Stripe vs Gizmo that they is only one boss when you play as stripe which is Gizmo at the end. This is not the case with Gizmo. Gremlins Gizmo was planed for XBLA and Play station network as the official trailer video for the game said but it never showed up on either. Monster party on the Nes one of the bosses was inspired by gremlins though in the retail version the boss sprite was edited into a cat though the projectile attack of the boss was not changed. The yugioh card King of Feral Imps is clearly based off stripe that and the cards Japanese name is king gremlin though all cards in yugioh called gremlin got loaclised into feral imp. yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/King_of_the_Feral_Imps

I have fond memories of the Atari/C64 Gremlins game, and I think it's still pretty good for a quick fix. Its resemblance with Robotron helps a lot,I guess.

A few years ago, when I was at Toy Fair, NECA Toys was making Gremlins toys in full force, hoping for a franchise revival. They even showed off a video demo for what was, if I remember right, a game of mini-games featuring Gizmo for the Nintendo DS. Maybe I should contact NECA and see if they can fill in the blanks.

The game was released, it's covered towards the bottom of page 3.

I made some corrections.
Wasn't the 8-bit computer version of the original Gremlins available for the Apple II? I could have sworn I saw that at some point.

The game was released, it's covered towards the bottom of page 3. Well that's one way to make a first post on a forum. I don't know how I missed that. Plus I never would have expected the game to get off the ground. Still, pretty dumb of me. Sorry.

There was also a text adventure for a few 8-bit computers. It's a Scott Adams game, so it's total garbage, but I just thought you'd like to know.
