I'd really like to see Apogee's library of games make it to the GOG lists someday. I would kill to relive some of my childhood playing their PC games. I would like to play Monster Bash again at an easily affordable price.

I understand Bethesda is kinda a jerkass company, so the hopes might be pretty slim on that. Anyway, I don’t especially want any particular game, but I think simulators, especially flight simulators are pretty underrepresented in GOG despite being quite prevalent in the 90s PC scene, so I’d like to have more of those. Could there be licensing issues with the flight simulators, like with aircraft manufacturers? There definitely needs to be more Epic's games on GOG. Its weird that the site has something like Gex, but neither of the Jazz Jackrabbit games. There might be, as I don’t think earlier games had any sort of proper licencing from the companies. Do you actually need one, though? Making war games in a realistic setting would get pretty tough if you had to ask around for permission for each piece of military hardware you use, but there sure are enought around. Ace Combat shows a hefty list of licensors in its startup, but not many other games.

by far the games I'd like to see the most on there is No One Lives Forever 1&2 aka some of the most underrated games ever made, rumor has it it's coming, but it's yet to happen, what is the hold up?
I would also love to see the PC ports of Midway's games on there, namely Psy-Ops and The Suffering, two games I had a lot of fun with back in the day and would love to revisit
beyond that I would love to see a game called Nocturne, from the makers of Bloodrayne, which I've been curious about for ages on there, along with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4, The Thing, Obsidian, 9: The Last Resort, the original Halo and SWAT 4, which what's weird is SWAT 1-3 are on there, so why not 4?

The guys that managed to wrangle a re-release of System Shock 2 are working on it. NOLF is in an even worse situation than System Shock 2 was in though, so we'll see how things go. More license and/or trademark hell. SWAT 4 was made by a different developer (Irrational), so it's probably yet another situation where the rights to various parts of the game are spread across two or more companies, making a re-release difficult.

I read that the first Max Payne is unplayable on modern systems, now if they would fix that and release it...

I read that the first Max Payne is unplayable on modern systems, now if they would fix that and release it... Have not had any unfixable problems with it on the Steam version. The key is that you'll need to download a free patch that re-encodes the sound effects, or else the game will be very quiet much of the time because half the sounds don't play correctly.

And I've played them several times on the PS2, but seeing the Tony Hawk games would be neat as well. The only thing I'd be wary about concerning them however would be that they would likely not contain most of the songs they originally did D: I suppose it would be a decent workaround if you could play your own music in-game though.

Epic used to sell their games at Epic Classics, but it looks like that site finally got snuffed a few years ago. I tried calling them once by looking up the Whois information and had the impression it was being operated by Tim Sweeney's relatives, but it looks like the domain is no longer theirs. I think it's a shame that Escape Velocity Nova is so buried – you can buy it from Ambrosia, but only at an appalling price, and I guess it will never be popular enough to warrant rescuing. I guess Sony has an iron grip on the Lemmings games. Too bad. Other games I would like to see: Driv3r (yes, a good game IMO), Flashback (remake + original), Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect... But some of those are on Steam already. I'd prefer to see stuff that wasn't already available elsewhere. Personally, I would be happy if Capcom would test waters with Mega Man on the PC market by allowing GOG to release Mega Man X4 and Mega Man Legends. All they've released there so far was Street Fighter Alpha 2. I remember way back when the Phantom was a thing that a whole bunch of their old PC ports were in the list of proposed games - X and X2, for instance - so one would think they'd be open to the possibility. (We can only dream of Rockman Strategy.) The now defunct Lucasarts or Lucasfilms (RIP) (I forget) has some games I would be interested in getting like Loom, Day of the Tentacle and Sam and Max Hit the Road. Loom is also on Steam and will probably inevitably appear on GOG shortly, along with The Dig and the Indiana Jones games. They just got Sam & Max Hit the Road. The one I want the most is the first Blood Omen. It is the only game on the series still not available on GOG, and the one which would benefit the most from their services, since it doesn't work properly on recent systems. That definitely is an odd one. There are patches that will at least get it running in XP. by far the games I'd like to see the most on there is No One Lives Forever 1&2 aka some of the most underrated games ever made, rumor has it it's coming, but it's yet to happen, what is the hold up? Indeed, now that Tron 2.0 has been released, I had hoped that some of the legal wrangling was finished. Captain Claw and perhaps Sanity: Aiken's Artifact would be interesting too. Psi-Ops used to be a genuine, legal, free download at Fileplanet, but the link is kaput.

It's a great game, that's for sure, but Ambrosia seems to have no interest in selling their games anywhere but on their own website. The price for EV: Nova isn't as bad as it looks though, since you can download free plugins that allow you to play the original EV and EV: Override in EV: Nova, so you're effectively getting the entire series at that price, not just the one game. It's kind of sad that these days Ambrosia just makes apps and iOS stuff, though. They were the kings of Mac shareware back in the OS 7/8 days.

This goes for the original, non-Steam version as well. Only the sounds bug out in that version as wellin newer Windows, and you need a 3rd party patch for that.
