I wouldn't call Porky underrated. I mean he was the literal star of nearly every single Looney Tunes short from mid-1936 to 1947 (give or take a few Daffy color solo shorts and The Hep Cat).

I don't have any hard evidence for this statement, but it always felt like Bugs, Daffy, the Road Runner, and even Tweety/Sylvester were much more popular than Porky. At least, in modern times.

Underrated is pretty accurate. Yeah in the 30's he was big, but that was 80 years ago.
Porky Pig ain't getting feature roles in anything nowadays.

Heh, kinda has a Luigi's Mansion vibe to it with the focus on the less widely popular character.
Yeah, Porky was definitely eclipsed in stardom by the early forties by then regulated to the more second-string animation directors. By the late 40s, no major WB animator was including him in cartoons except Chuck Jones and even he more or less stopped using him by the mid-50s. By then it seems like he only showed up in the comic books.
Also, to be technical, Bugs Bunny never really co-starred with Porky Pig. That is except for the first "rabbit" cartoon, Porky's Hare Hunt, which is very far removed THE Bugs Bunny which emerged. Porky otherwise was never deemed a suitable co-star for whatever reason (clashing comic styles/formulas?). Then again, Bugs is a character that is very hard to get a unified assessment on who created him. Pretty much every major WB animator claimed credit.
Of note is that Porky (along with Daffy and disputably Bugs) was the first true Tex Avery cartoon star. Porky was initially created as a stuttering one-off cameo character which Avery latched onto and made him the star of his first major vehicles (in turn making Porky a cartoon star) and used Porky to paved the way for the Avery's next creation, Daffy Duck.

In regards to Porky's Hare Hunt, the rabbit also goes by the name of "Happy Hare" if memory serves. However, I think the character was referred to as "Bugs' Bunny" on the model sheets for the cartoon (Bugs being the nickname of Ben Hardaway), which is where the modern day name of Bugs Bunny comes from. Design and personality wise, Happy Hare almost seems like a different character, who eventually developed into the more familiar version of Bugs that debuted in A Wild Hare. However, it appears the name Bugs Bunny was there from the beginning. I think that's the story anyways, assuming I got the facts correct. The Angry Video Game Nerd even touches the subject a bit in his review of the Crazy Castle games. Also, in this old Cartoon Network commercial, Robin even mentions that Porky Pig's best work didn't come until he played the role of the sidekick...

I forgot about those, also I miss the not Teen Titans Robin. Something, about him changed. And really I remember Porky usually as the straight man in most shorts. Usually, with Daffy or Sylvester. Oddly, he'd play the "human" character from time to time...

But definitely let us know if you happen to find it again, sounds interesting! The Great Klaid - A bit off topic, but the one thing that is pretty cool about the Teen Titans Robin is that his voice is more or less identical to Lloyd Irving in Tales of Symphonia. On a similar note, I just discovered that Tails in this new Sonic Boom thing is voiced by the same actress behind Genis. (Edit: Ah, so that's how linking works. Noted.)

Yeah, I know aboyt Lloyd and Robin. Drives me nuts because I always forget it though. So, I sit there wondering who's that voice. Also, to get that linking thing to work you have to use the original name. Which, is odd and made worse when about 6 months ago a lot of us changed. To see it you can quote them and it'll say their registered name. But to demonstrate for me it's @ thegreatklaid. No space, but it becomes The Great Klaid. It works for pulling people into a thread too, as it gives a notification. Hopefully that helps you, and anyone who doesn't know how that worked. Although, Discoalucard is the worst, because his is @ admin, and it throws me off everytime.

Maybe it had something to do with the graphics? I've always thought the graphics in "Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday" looked notably bland and undetailed, like they are unfinished. Especially if you compare it with other Sunsoft games like Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage or Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions.

Maybe it had something to do with the graphics? No, it's something like the game was finished, but then it switched publishers or something?
