I can completely understand not having the skill or sensibilities to navigate an older game, but how on Earth can you find Mega Man's mechanics to be misleading or obtuse? "You never said I couldn't walk on those."
At least Jasser had the right attitude about it.

No, these reactions are correct. The first game is actually that tricky. The only reason I can beat any of these levels is experience. I definitely did that badly when I first played the game too. There's a lot of "OMFG bullshit!" moments from common enemies.

I can't bring myself to sit through one of these videos. I also can't stand the images of the teens/kids they use in the thumbnails for these videos. I tried watching this one but only made it a minute or two in; the reactions are blown way out of proportion and they're all probably paid actors anyway.

That being said, the snowflake/cupcake kids today are entitled little retards and society is going to go to shit. Well, moreso.

Yeah, the whole thing smells of overracting and forced nostalgia.
At least, I'm glad to see Kaelyn jumps with the entire controller. That's the way you're supposed to do it: everyone knows it gives Mega Man a boost.

Would've loved to see them trying the Guts Man or Ice Man stage.

I beat this game as a teenager like 5-6 years ago. The only real bullshit is Guts Man's level. That took me forever. But, I guess I'll never understand how kids only 5 years younger then me can seem like a new generation. Well, some of them. My little brother does that once in a while. He says it's really quite strange to fit in with me somedays and his peers the next.

I hate "Kids/teens react to" series, expecially after the Game Boy episode ("Is that the iPhone case?").

I just sort of shake my head at videos like these. It makes me feel like it's setting some sort of bad example with older games.

Am I the only one here who loves this series? Esp. because I have experienced similar reactions in real live when showing the younger generation the games I grew up with.
