www.hardcoregaming101.net/valkyrie/valkyrie.htmAnother one of those ancient articles that didn't have a forum thread yet. I've recently stumbled upon mentions of a Walküre no Bōken II (yes, we've always spelled the name wrong, there's several Japanese publications that use the German spelling vor Valkyrie, and the katakana ワルキューレ make much more sense that way) in MSX Magazine, and when trying to research it, I discovered that there was a whole bunch of related stuff we either missed or that has come out after the article. There's nothing that can be actually easily obtained (at least not any more, in case of the Android game), so it's all just "this stuff exists" (or existed), but there you go...

I actually have that Windows game, it's called Rosa no Bouken, I think. It's just a visual novel but I'll have to add it one day. Those mobile games are out of reach but I have an issue of Gameside that details them.
This is another article where I want to expand the text. I've been replaying it lately on my Vita.

Valkyrie was also in a part of Tales of Phantasia. I can't remember exactly what happened, I think Cless died and went to Valhalla, where Valkyrie appears and tells Cless the Gungnir is her master's spear and he is unworthy of holding it, and takes it away from him after the following boss fight. It was about as far as I played, up to what I assume is only the first attempt to fight Dhaos, in the past. Norse mythology aside, the true danger in that castle is 1980s arcade game monsters. They kick my ass! (at least the GBA version, is all I've played)

IIRC, Valkyrie is a secret boss available only on the PS1 and SNES versions of Phantasia. I don't know what triggers her, though.

She is in most "Tales of..." games in some form or another, actually. The article used to mention a few, but I've added the first Tales of Phantasia one and gathered some more screenshots of various cameos.

So just randomly came across this article so I did a little reading. First is that there is a "gmae" typo under the Glory games. Secondly, I did some digging into the deepest darkest parts of Japanese internet and found the APK for Glory 1, for anyone interested. If you want to try it out, I'd suggest doing it on a phone if you can. I'm using a tablet, and it is gets a bit pixellated when it's blown up. Also, everything except the menu is in Japanese, but it's pretty easy to figure out. S is skill, which can be changed on the menu, A is attack, and B is jump. app.box.com/s/9cxxp4p3zolga3pzlwu59bxqkge6d9o0

I hate to be a stickler for this, but "über" is a German word, and it should have its umlaut to reflect its actual spelling in the article. *über geeks *They have more recognizable properties than just Pac-Man *i-mode mobile phonesTwo players can join in *hordes of bad guys *The books were accompanied by a mobile game
