www.hardcoregaming101.net/scat/scat.htmAlthough we previously covered this game as part of a larger "Natsume NES games" article, we've decided to expand each game into single articles, starting with the side-scrolling shooter S.C.A.T. (AKA Final Mission and Action in New York), which was heavily influenced by Capcom's Forgotten Worlds.

Props to the editor for smoothing my writing out because even my second draft was rough as hell. Anyhow, here's a Final Mission related link. Someone remixed the intro music for Japanese game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyvG5qTFGQk

It's interesting to note that in Europe the Virtual Console release ended up being S.C.A.T. rather than Action in New York. Same thing happened with Shadow of the Ninja (Blue Shadow) so they both were released in 60hz and at a slightly higher price, being "imports". Maybe Infogrames/Atari and Taito still owned the names, but I dunno about that 'cause the EU VC release of River City Ransom still ended up being Street Gangs, and that was originally published by Infogrames too. Maybe Natsume didn't wanna screw European owners.

I believe Ninja Gaiden (NES) was also released on PAL VC, but both of the sequels were left out entirely (despite that the second game originally got a PAL release).
Sega did the reverse, charging us more for Secret Command(o?) for Master System as an "import" because they probably didn't wanna pay for the original Rambo name.
