www.hardcoregaming101.net/neverhood/neverhood.htmReally surprised we didn't have a thread for this one yet! A hightly imaginative clay animation adventure, it's platforming sequel and a strange Japanese air hockey game that doesn't really fit in at all with the series.

Aww, you made me momentarily hopeful that there was actually news of something happening with this game.

I feel that it ought to be mentioned, to those curious about the game, that The Neverhood is fully playable in ScummVM, which means it is playable to about 20-some different platforms.

I cannot find any information on pricing for the PS1 release of the Neverhood. Really want to get my hands on this as it was a game I played during my childhood. 40k sold in the USA.. someone has to have some information.

You won't find a US release for the PlayStation; the only English release was for Windows. If you must have it on PlayStation, you'll need to search for it under the Japanese title, "Klaymen Klaymen." A cursory eBay search is showing me used copies of the Japanese release are going for $20-25 USD.

Armikrog's still in development, so I guess there's that. Looking back, it's sad that what should have been a modern update of Neverhood turned out a worse rehash instead.

I really should give that a spin, considering I backed the Kickstarter. (At least it didn't turn into yet another complete Kickstarter disaster.)

I guess my mind is playing tricks on me since I really thought it was on the PS1.. and know we didn't have the Japanese Playstation. Best bet is to get it on PC it looks like. Thanks so much for the reply Weasel

Thanks so much for the reply WeaselI wonder if you're thinking of the sequel, SkullMonkeys, which was released for PS1 worldwide? It depends on whether you remember it being a point-and-click adventure or a platformer...

I know the article is very very old, but can anyone add in the end a brief paragraph about "Armikrog." and how disappointing it was?
