Saw this randomly on Twitter today. It looks like the original composer for a lot of Tecmo's old NES output (including Tecmo Bowl, Ninja Gaiden, and Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom) has a new album coming out. You can stream it here, and pre-order the final product for a scant $8. Personally, I love this style of music, and would love to see more old school composers putting out new work, so I've gone ahead and pitched in. Thought maybe some of the folks around here might want to check it out, as well.

Very cool. More chip tune-ish than I expected. I will definitely be dropping the $8 for it. Thanks for the heads up.

Been listening to this a lot now that the full release is out. Really love each track, with "Starfish Cluster" and "Drifting Love" standing out in particular. "Drifting Love" feels like it could have been in a Katamari game.
At any rate, I hope this does well enough so we can see more releases of this nature.
