www.hardcoregaming101.net/buraifighter/buraifighter.htmRather excellent NES shoot-em-up from KID, who later developed Low-G-Man, the GI Joe games, and Kickmaster. I remember the arcade soundtrack was released for this game, but I can't seem to find it. The Nico Nico link I found is dead.

Played Space Marauder a month or so ago. Was fun, but weirdly colliding with the stage did not impede me in that one, I could just float right through. Which clearly is supposed to not happen, there are even some stretches without any enemies, only the labyrinthy auto-scrolling stage as a hazard that now is none. Also makes killing enemies easier, since my bullets went through the blockades too. I wonder if that was a problem of the ROM/emulator, or if the actual game has that glitch in it.

" You get three difficulty levels and are only able to see an actual ending on the highest one, which then presents you with an even worse hidden difficulty (a taunting tendency of KID also seen in Low-G-Man"
It wasn't KID really, but Ken Lobb who did that. Remember that "interview" I did with Ken Lobb? He explained his intentions with that. Almost all of the games he touched back then had something like that.
