A name inconsistency I noticed in the article text:
In the opening paragraphs: "In contrast to The Transformers: Mystery of Convoy" Final line: "In summary, The Atlantis Factor isn't fantastic, but it's still several leagues above Convoy no Nazo."

my vote's for convoy no nazo o/ Fun fact: the symbol in the fifth and sixth shots at the very bottom of the article is a shoutout to Gundam; it's a symbol seen on the Sazabi. Why the Sazabi has such a distinctive symbol like that is anyone's guess; maybe it comes from something much older? There's another symbol in that The Atlantis Factor level that I haven't found anywhere yet.

The one in the fifth screenshot and on the Sazabi is a really common flame motif in Islamic and some Orthodox Christian art. The one in the sixth shot I recognize also but can't remember from what.

Wow, really? I feel awful for not knowing something seemingly common. I did figure it was from some religion's history, a friend suggested Sikh. I've never been able to find it anywhere else so far, though looking up old religious images isn't exactly easy; do you have any examples? One thing about the first symbol that always got me was how it eerily resembles the treble clef...

It's not too eerie, the treble and bass clefs we see in western music today are derived from compositions of Gregorian monks from back in the day (though the forms we see now weren't quite a thing until very recently like late 19th century IIRC). The two symbols could actually pass for stylized treble and bass clefs, but at the same time because of the one on that Gundam I don't think that's what they were getting at. When I played Atlantis Factor as a kid I thought the other symbol was a stylized Japanese letter "ka" for power, because those two levels have the statues in them that max out the levels of your character when you walk by them. But I swear I've seen the latter one elsewhere. I don't know jack about calligraphy though (which both the characters look like they were drawn to imitate) or I'd know more.
