There was Sobe Energy Drink product placement in Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee for the Xbox, which considering the anti-capitalist message of the series is preeeeeeeeeeeeeetty fuckin' ironic.

Was M.C. Kids any good? There's also the cancelled California Raisins game. I remember seeing ads for that and Yo! Noid back around 1990. I played (and made a fan-translation patch for) a Famicom first-person adventure/shooter game called Photon: The Ultimate Game on Planet Earth, before realizing it was also a game based on a toy gun. ... oddly released the same year as Zillion. Was that the hot thing for game licensing that year? As I recall, Photon was an IRL light gun game that actually predated its more popular competitor, Lazer Tag. Believe they both had their own shows for a brief period, as well.

Am I the only one that thinks that all these suggestions can be turned into an Inventories article someday?

MC Kids was a nice if standard platformer, nothing special but enjoyable, even if I never got past the fourth world in my NES days... There was also the Game Gear platformer Coca Cola Kid, another average title.

What about 2 fast 4 you? It was a,for the time period, fun, free racing game for dos.. in which you collect BiFis as Power Ups (a popular sausage brand in german speaking countries..)

That was the breaking point in most my playthroughs. Jason X I thought it was fun if a bit hard for its own good. It wasn't in the same pedigree as a Nintendo or Capcom platformer on the NES but worth getting if you find the game.

That was the breaking point in most my playthroughs. I think it was the fourth one actually, I looked some info and the fifth world is the moon, while the sixth and final one is the volcano. For a game with a kid audience in mind, it was pretty hard at times!

I don't know if the game is actually good or not, but I didn't realize the Famicom version of Castelian for the NES was modified to turn it into a license game for some kind of chocolate.
