Frankly, while I like the ideas behind the game, I never got warm with it. The time mechanics are clever, but they break the flow of the action too much for me. And the jokes are just cringe-inducingly unfunny in my opinion; I'd say the writing is on par with Earthworm Jim 3D, which is to say, completely witless. A shame, because I was really looking forward to this game when it was announced.

I believe they're also adding the Journey...erm...person? To the Playstation version as well. Also we did talk about the game on a first strike as well if anyone was interested in that for some reason.

Fantastic gameplay and levels (the replays are a delight to watch), awful writing and humour, in line with indies that try too hard to be "edgy". Even more jarring considering how beautifully atmospheric Sword & Sworcery was.
Not like the other two are so subtle...

Frankly, while I like the ideas behind the game, I never got warm with it. It took me a couple hours before I "got" the game, but I don't blame you. It's a very hard game to get into, and there were times I wished it was a more traditional run and gun. That said, there's nothing more fun than blowing through a level perfectly after you've cleared it out a couple time.

I'm on board with the others who already said that it has great gameplay but awful writing. Oh,and I need to play Sword & Sorcery someday.

Man, I must be the only one who thought the entire game was pretty awful, not just the writing. It's way too easy with thirty lives for each sub-stage, but mostly it's just so boring. You spend like 80% of the game's time in rewind mode; it's more like you're a editing film clips than playing a game.

I just got this game on Steam thanks to the Summer Sale, and what impressed me the most about it is that it surprisingly has a Brazilian Portuguese translation, and a pretty great one at that! Which now makes me question wether Capybara is a Brazilian developer or not; after all, the capybara is a well-known animal from my country's fauna...

They are from Toronto.
Beside Yoshida and "Scarf" there will also be Sir Galahad from The Order 1886 as a Sony-exclusive character (saw a trailer on Capy's website right now). I had also forgotten about Below, which is still TBA. I hope they'll dial back to Sword & Sworcery's atmopsheres.
