This is one of those games that felt like a waste of space on Taito Legends 2. Arkanoid or Chase H.Q. would have been much better.

I have to disagree with the notion that Kuri Kinton doesn't improve on Kung Fu Master in any meaningful way. It plays faster and controls better. You have more moves and it is much easier to gauge distances. You can double-tap to run. It has a dedicated button for jumping. The levels are more interesting. The enemies are more 'intelligent' etc.
Sadly, it does away with one of the main draws of Kung Fu Master - the constant barrage of enemies from 'all' sides. In Kuri Kinton they often come one at a time and the emphasis is more on bosses and though single enemies, a development typical for arcade games of the time. It simply lacks the sense of urgency that Kung Fu Master and clones like Trojan has.

I remember this game getting really difficult, I was never able to beat it, and I really one stage where I was really trying.
I do agree it seems a shame this was on Taito Legends as opposed to Chase HQ (Not that it matters now, I can't even get Taito Legends to run on my PC anymore)
