I seem to recall a big media push for this game?

I certainly saw a lot of print ads in all my Archie Digests (and I had a lot of those).

It may not look as nice as the FMV, but that one comparison image in particular still looks more than serviceable for the N64.
Typo: "and enter into the various dreamworlds from their."

I seem to recall a big media push for this game? I recall one for the N64 release, which makes it's last-minute cancellation that much more mysterious. I figured it would have done pretty well on that platform, with the combo of being a decent enough platformer on a system that mas a stronger platforming fan-base and the general lack of games overall on the N64 slated for release circa 1999 which would make it at least somewhat more competitive on that console.

I remember seeing TV commercials for this game as a kid but I never played it.
Also, someone should make a game called "40 Wanks"
