Games set in each of the 50 states

So, here's something pointless I've been pondering. Out of the many games set in the United States, are there enough games out there that there'd be at least one primarily set in each of the 50 states? Not just one single level, I mean, they'd have to take place for a good portion of the game, or the entire game. Let's get New York and California out of the way, first, those are too easy. The rest, however, let's start with:

And yes, I realize this thread is... a little America-centric. Unfortunately, finding games that take place across, say, every province of Canada might prove to be even more difficult. Still, if anybody wants to try, go for it!

Electrician for the FDS goes through a bunch of states. Check the maps on Gamefaqs. Other than the White House and Statue of liberty, I don't recognize the other landmarks.

Mario Is missing visits a few states too I believe.

The Oregon Trail at least counts for Oregon! Though it naturally crosses many, many other states as well.

There's a level in the game Chaser that takes place in Portland---whether it's Portand, OR or Portland, Maine I am unsure.

Shadowrun (SNES/Genesis) and Shadowrun Returns take place in good ol' futuristic Seattle, Washington.

I wish I could find it, but there was an image a couple years ago which assigned one game to each state. I remember California had two games for it, one each for Northern and Southern California.

It's true, there's many games set there, but if you had to pick one an obvious pick would be Max Payne, that's probably the only game where it's not just set in New York, but New York is a character itself in the game.

Also, not only do parts of Left 4 Dead 2 take place in Georgia, but the first level takes place in Savannah, which is only an hour away from where I live

The level only kinda vaguely resembles it though.

Coming up with a suitable game for Rhode Island is almost impossible. If we were to name developers for each of these states instead I could name the defunct 38 Studios, but coming up with a game that takes place there is hard. All I can think of is that Family Guy video game from awhile back.

Arcade America had you travel across most of USA, though the platforming parts only occurred in select few states, in order: California, Nevada, Arizona, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Washington DC and New York.

Desperados, a Commandos clone set a little after the Civil War, first takes place in Louisiana for tutorial missions before going to New Mexico for the rest of the game.

I dunno, the Blackwell games are also pretty heavily New York.

I dunno if DLC counts for this list, but Fallout: New Vegas has the Honest Hearts DLC which takes place in Utah.

EDIT: Also, it's not the whole game, but Tony Hawk's Underground starts the player off in New Jersey, which is a place you visit a few different times throughout the story mode.


EDIT2: There are some Lilo & Stitch video games, so those could serve as a placeholder for Hawaii.



EDIT 3: It's not out yet I don't think, but Firewatch will take place in Wyoming.






EDIT 4: Fountain of Dreams takes place in Florida, and Shiloh: Grant's Trial in the West takes place in Tennessee.

The comics and TV show also take place in Georgia (before relocating elsewhere), though the Telltale game concerns a unique cast of characters/story made specifically for the game.
