So is Maciej planning on writing about Fallout or Civilization? Just asking because so far he's written articles about lot of PC games I've ever been addicted to, Floor 13 and Uplink included.
I've always been interested on Lords of Midnight, but I never got around to play it with more effort. I did buy a boxed copy of the third game and I was kind of impressed how it came with a short novel.

Fallout definitely (unless someone else writes about it before I do, it's a popular series), although I'll need to get the games I don't own (3, NV - played both but don't have them so I'm unable to take screenshots) and play through the ones I haven't played (e.g. Shelter, 4). Civilization probably, although the problem here is the number of spinoffs and ports on different platforms (I think there was even a civ game on facebook, and if it requires spamming invitations then I'm not going to bother). I'm probably not going to start writing before January though - I've got UnderRail to review for NicheGamer (I'm waiting for it to come out of Early Access so I can play the final release), I'm (hopefully) in the process of getting a job and I've got some exams coming soon so I just don't have time.

While I've never played Lords Of Midnight I've always admired it for its innovative concept and its ambitious scope, both of which make it stand out even among equally impressive contemporaries such as Elite and Mercenary.
