You know, many of the Profile articles (Compile Shooters, Raizing Shooters, etc) could use an update.

I've actually totally rewritten the Compile Shooter article for the next book coming out really soon. Also rewrote the Star Soldier article, added in Star Force, updated R-Type significantly and revamped Thunder Force and Cotton a bit.

Also rewrote the Star Soldier article, added in Star Force, updated R-Type significantly and revamped Thunder Force and Cotton a bit. Nice. It kinda bothers be that a game like Aleste 2 had just a small paragraph dedicated to it. Speaking of Star Force, maybe it could have it's own article and cover the two sequels.

With Dragon Quest keep making many news games all the time (and with most of them being Japan exclusive), I bet it's hard to update the Dragon Quest article with reviews for the latest games. Also I didn't knew about the existence of Metal Slug article. Retro Gamer magazine made a great interview with one of the creators, presenting many info we didn't knew about. I know it's not a great place to do this. But, I actually just need some screens for DQIX. And then I can finish my re-writes on that.

Speaking of Star Force, maybe it could have it's own article and cover the two sequels. All of the Star Force games are covered too. Super Star Force is an interesting game, if messy. Final is just an okay Raiden clone.

I've just beaten Final yesterday. Good enough for what it is.

Just letting you know that the Rambo article has something that has been found to be different. In the entry for Rambo 3 (arcade): "Strangely, the European version includes different stages and altered enemy sprites - nothing too notable, it's just weird that it was changed at all. Instead of a credit roll, you'll see various digitized cutscene pictures." I believe I was the one that alerted Kurt of those differences way back then. However, according to TCRF ( tcrf.net/Proto:Rambo_III_(Arcade) ), it seems those differences were actually from a prototype dump of the game. The new MAME lists that old European version as "(Euro, proto?)", and the newest European dump has the same level order and same ending as the USA version. So maybe that line the article should be changed to reflect the new available information.

I wonder if it would be worth adding Super Star Shooter by the Dotmap Brothers to the Star Soldier article it's a Caravan game that plays similarly to Star Soldier and it had a ton of ports. Off the top of my head you could get it for the Wii IOS android GBA and I think it debuted on the X68000.

The Ultima article is slightly out of date, with Ultima Forever released in 2013 and (ironically) shut down a year later.

I know that the Splatterhouse article is very, VERY old, but maybe someone could add the 2010 Splatterhouse game to the list? Especially since I doubt there would be any others in the future.

The author is planning on reworking the Splatterhouse one very shortly.

It's a minor thing, but many PS2 games have such as Okage and Rogue Galaxy have gotten enhanced digital re-releases on PS4, so maybe add that to the system list.

Tokyo Mirage Session #FE should be added in the Fire Emblem section (as Nintendo owns the standalone intellectual property).
