So I finished Eternal Senia on Steam just now. It's a free (as in, really free and not F2P) Ys-like with more engaging characters and plot (but at the cost of gameplay and music). Some spoilery ending screenshots below.

Mega Man 8
Not bad, but probably my least favorite of the original Mega Man series. The level design just isn't quite as good, and some sections are fairly annoying (e.g. The snowboard style segments). Thankfully the bosses weren't too much of a challenge. I assume that was to make up for the fact that there aren't any E-Tanks in the game.

Still Life 2 done, and with the best ending. That was was better narrative wise than the last game. Post Mortem was like an old detective novella, Still Life was the CSI'ifed take with more comedy and ridiculous ideas taken from real stories, and this game was a blend of the gritter crime shows and Hollywood thrillers. It was way more tense, besides that long investigation segment, and had one hell of a climax. Kind of miss the mystical elements from the previous games, though. Also wasn't expecting the wrap-up of the last game to be weaved into the plot like that. It was kinda clever that they made you think the killer was the same as the last one, only to make it clear its someone else and using the last story to develop Vic's character in this one. Screencap from the final cinematic.

Guess I have Her Story claimed, got every cinematic too. It was eh. The two twists it threw out were pretty dumb the more you thought about it, and the time leaves you a LOT of time to think about it. I have way more to say about it in a proper article. I would recommend it if you like narrative experiment sort of stuff and its on sale, but otherwise, there's much more interesting stuff out there to try. II will say I thought the acting was quite good. Except for the two clips where she sings. I think even the actress knew that song was the worst thing ever.

Um, can I claim Fallout 2? It's the only game I've played so far this year and I'm close to beating it.
I'd also like to claim some of fall of 2015's big ones that I have yet to play but will pretty soon, namely Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid V.

Run Saber (SNES) finished on normal mode. Played on Snes9x. This guys is harder than any boss in the game and you need to fight him 3x I think. Looks like a a boss from Contra. Last boss again looks like it's ripped from Super Contra. Commit mass genocide to save a little girl... I don't think that I've ever heard of this game before, but it looks rad as hell. @-@

Luke is a little bit faster, recently saw a speedrun race of it.
The sequels are very similar but you get jedi powers and better mode 7 levels.

Playing Super Empire Strikes Back and it plays just as obnoxious as Super SW. Instead of improving the Saber they nerfed the blasters. I don't know if I could trudge through these crappy series. Still WIP I actually had fun with the Japanese Star Wars NES game than the SNES series.
