The thing with this one is- I love it. And I find it pretty much ok that they marketed it as "being posessed", because these days, you simply CAN'T keep such things a secret anyway. I mean I never played undertale, yet I already know it has lots of twists and turns und pacifistic behaviour is rewarded and such and such. Or I never played the Stanley Parable, yet I am already prepared that it will try to mess with my expectations. Going in "completely blind" is nigh impossible in this day and age. Which makes me wonder- was there a game like these in the "before internet times", which confused players? Or is 4th wall breaking in gaming a new phenomenon? I know of none that do it in such an interactive way from older times.

The thing a lot of people look over with this one is that it's not supposed to surprise you with a shocking twist. The entire joke is that it's a comedy and not some shocking piece of media, and as a comedy, it's fucking great.

I still lose it when I find out Satan's password is "ponies"

With great jokes, of course. I still lose it when I find out Satan's password is "ponies" Not only with jokes. I was really confused when the sequence came where the steam messages come or it seems to crash windows style and I always thought "waaaaaait-i don't use steam AND don't use windows, how does this happen what is going on"XD

I was too. That entire sequence is easily the highlight.

So, uhhh Is the actual program (not the game-within-the-game) supposed to crash itself when you delete the first core file? Because the whole thing bombed out and kicked me back to the desktop. I reopened the program, resumed the save, deleted the file...then it gave me an achievement and everything continued as normal, with the log-in screen.

Didn't happen for me...

Oh I thought it was being super duper meta, like when you delete the SQ4 icon in Vohaul's Computer in Space Quest IV and get kicked out to the DOS prompt. Guess it was a legitimate crash that just happened to be perfectly timed.

Maybe it is general MENT to crash, but they could not force the Linux version to crash;) Any more experiences?

I gave this game a try after reading the article and *loved* it. Very fun and original. A lot to discover as well.
I laughed a lot as well but I give a lot of credit to the creators for finally living up to all those creepypastas going around.
