But the game is also a traditional roguelike with the level of complexity and difficulty similar to that of NetHack.

Nice job on the article! I didn't know they have graphical tiles now, which is helpful for ASCII-insensitive people like me.

I can't stand the tiles in this game, they look soooo generic. Too bad, I don't wanna play ASCII either.
I loved Nethack's tiles. They're simple and distinctive without being boring. I may be one of the only people who likes them.

The Steam version updated to allow you to pick starsigns and has an offline mode. In fact, those were added a month or two ago. Biskup's also working on completely overhauling character generation so that it uses points rather than randomization. God knows when that'll be out though.

I may be one of the only people who likes them. I like the tiles here though. Nice on the eyes, but I guess the cutesy tiles don't mesh well with the chaos theme?
