I think you guys forgot that there was a Pilotwings game on the 3DS I've never played a single game in the series though, so I can't comment on how that compares with the other two. Well shit. I wish I had a 3DS. I liked the pilotwings games for both SNES and N64.

Pilotwings for SNES had a battle mode as the final assignment. And even the original DOS Flight Simulator had a combat mode. So it wasn't too uncommon for flight simulators to include an action mode, to help Bobinator's case.

I did not know Pilotwings had a 3DS version, thankfully we weren't rating that one - it's one of Nintendo's better franchises that they mostly ignore.

Have to say, as a person that was around when Krull was released, I was mega excited when I saw this game in the arcade. And I would always see it being advertised, but I could never see it in the stores for the 2600. So there was an excitement for it because I loved the movie...if not mostly for the Glaive, which happened to actually come BACK in Dark Sector--sans the 5 points and cool gold finish.

Xerxes was thinking of Ys IV Mask of the Sun and Ys IV The Dawn of Ys. They were very different games. I highly recommend the English translation of The Dawn of Ys which came out a few years back.

Where is the review of Rampage? I can't seem to find it on Patreon. I uploaded them two nights ago. I also added a Patreon-exclusive RSS feed, which will be a quicker way to get the Patreon exclusive eps.

You know Xerxes has a surprisingly good radio voice.

Hexen 2 was my first PC game when my family got a Gateway around '98. I remember kind of enjoying destroying the semi-destructible environments and getting absolutely nowhere in the game.

What is the song that plays at the end of podcast #54? It sounds incredible, in a classic '80s FM synth kinda way <3

You know Xerxes has a surprisingly good radio voice. He definitely should be doing this full-time. A voice made for radio.

I agree. He's got a face made for radio, too. (sorry)

Was the latest published episode created at the end of a marathon session, it sure sounded like it. Your editor should have taken out all the bits where you guys were having a hard time coming up with things to talk about. Even the PSA seemed fairly unenthusiastic. I'm just surprised because the show has been fairly high quality so far!

Poor Sonic. There was a time, you'd hoped he's gonna come back stronger than ever and it just wasn't happening..
