I really like games where you play as a ghost. Even Murdered: Soul Suspect. Loved the shit out of Geist.

Never even heard of this one, seems interesting. Doesn't seem like it was released in Europe sadly.

Ah geez, typo in the first sentence. Should say "it's rare that many are available when a console first launches" instead of "so it's rare that many are very for console launches".

I've wanted to play that one since I played Cattle Call's surprisingly good Arc the Lad: Twilight of Darkness back in January. Even thought I might write about it after, though I was beaten to it. Glad the tone of the article isn't negative overall, it really seems like an interesting game. I don't agree that the graphics are uninspired, though. It's not Grandia 3, but they look pretty good to me for early PS2. The somber color tones fits the mood.

I like their graphics to an extent, but the locations (dungeons especially) just get too repetitive with their textures and design for me. Individual rooms/areas look fine, but taken as a whole they blend together too much.

Individual rooms/areas look fine, but taken as a whole they blend together too much. Fair enough. That's a pretty common complaint against older RPGs, though I never minded much when dungeons looks samey. Also, I just noticed that the little Quick Info window says it was developed by Atlus. They were only the North American publisher (Sony published it in Japan) - the developer was Cattle Call, responsible for the PS2 Arc the Lad games. The character models are very similar, too. Mobygames has it wrong for some reason.
