Una Kavanagh has been asked multiple ti n es about it and is just confused why people keep saying it's her. She flat out denies that she was involved and us confused by the whole thing. The only evidence of her doing the role is she looks like the actress that played jill. Let's just assume it's some student from educational institution and move on. Internet is World Wide "Web" after all. You could probably find out the truth eventually, but would it be worth the hassle?

I had no idea. That's so weird. But it makes sense in a meta way. It reminds me of how none of the voice actors in the Resident Evil Outbreak games were credited in-game IIRC. That annoyed me a lot, but all of the info is on the RE wiki nowadays. That creepy bootleg game Hong Kong '97 had some mystery behind it. No one knows how the game's ROM was dumped since no one has found (or cared to track down?) a physical copy. The game over screen has a digitized photo of a corpse; no one is entirely sure who it is of, or how the devs got ahold of it. It is speculated to be the picture of the corpse of a Polish boxer who committed suicide... Great, now I have it's theme music stuck in my head. Hong Kong 97 is like a real life version of creepypasta games you read about, the ones with "hyper-realistic blood" and whatnot. IKR?

There were two I Am a Teacher games on the Famicom Disk System, published by Royal Kougyou. Supposedly, Nintendo made both games, because there's a "1986 Nintendo" copyright date, and the music sounds very FDS Nintendo-ish.
If this is true, it wouldn't be the last time; they also made the Fuji-published Doki Doki Panic in 1987, which, as everyone knows, became the USA SMB2.

Here's a new one.
What's up with the Greco Roman esque ruins sometimes seen underneath Dracula's castle in the Castlevania series? They were first seen in 3 and later Super Castlevania 4.
Castlevania is set in Transylvania obviously, could the Romans have made it that far into Eastern Europe?
But playing Rise of The Tomb Raider has got me thinking, could they actually be... Byzantine ruins?

Yes, I know, I've been reading up on the Byzantine Empire on Wikipedia thanks to ROTTR (though I had heard the term, I basically knew nothing about it) But what's got me connecting Castlevania to it is well, in ROTTR you explore Byzantine ruins in waterlogged caves, which given the architectural style made me flashback to Castlevania 4, I wonder if that's actually where Crystal Dynamics took some inspiration from? But anyway, so I guess those ruins are just Roman then? That makes a lot of sense and I always until now assumed it was just a random placement of something for simple visual variety's sake. Sort of like how in Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox you make your way through an Egyptian tomb, a Cambodian esque temple and a Mayan pyramid all in the same fictional middle eastern country.

Sorry for the bump, but apparently Ms. Michelle Yerger's daughter found this thread and contacted me: Hi! I am the daughter of Michelle Yerger, and have been getting contacted by various people thinking she’s Jill Valentine. Unfortunately, my mom is not Jill Valentine, and I’m not really sure how to get the word out, so I’ve been telling different people who are following this. I noticed last year you made a post on this forum trying to find information, so I’m just here to tell you she isn’t that actress, and I hope you find what you’re looking for. So yeah it isn't her, for god's sake stop contacting the woman.

was watching some AGDQ 2019 and had a new question:
Sonic 1 on Genesis. The Labyrinth Zone. What the HELL are those tiles in the background? They seem to depict... someone with a bird-face? One with its beak closed, and one with its mouth open in terror.
Somehow I never noticed them when I was playing all these years.

So I came to this topic here because I think this community/hg1o1 might be the only way I will even get a lead. I would like to know what ever happened to the primeal rage stop animation puppets? I know form Pete Kleinow (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0459136/) worked on the game and Dan Platt (http://www.danplatt.com/),sclupted them. I couldnt find if either of them have the puppets or if Atari or Time Warner Interactive has them either. Thanks.

Marble Zone had lion images. So I came to this topic here because I think this community/hg1o1 might be the only way I will even get a lead. There was a TV show I watched titled Hollywood Treasures where a group of people track down famous props and clothing found in TV and movie. If it is anything like those props, then those puppets are either held on to by somebody who made the game (or made the puppets) or they were auctioned off. I know games like these had physical development aids but you don't always hear about how many physical artifacts are required to help make these games. I would love to see more articles about them. This also goes to any promotional materials that used puppets or even just props in ads. EDIT: Is this Dan Platt? twitter.com/solidimageartsCouldn't hurt to ask him via message/tweet.

So I got in touch with Dan Platt and here is what he said to me. "Hi (my name),
The actual stop motion puppets became the property of Atari Games and when that company went out of business, everything was either liquidated or thrown away, including the molds. I had 5 original foam reproductions, directly from my molds in my collection, however three have been sold to a private collector, leaving Armadon and Vertigo.
Each puppet sold for $500 a piece. I do not know of any left on the planet. Vertigo stands about 18" and Armadon stands about 12” tall. If you are interested, I can get the exact specs.
-Dan"

Wow didn't think he was that quick to respond if at all. Turns out I was right unfortunately, it had a chance of being sold off. Hopefully one day the collectors took good care of it and maybe somebody did show off their collection alrady. Atari themselves are not the same as the 90s so who knows what they kept from the past save for arcade boards themselves.
So for now it's a case closed. I'm glad I helped and learned something.
