Oh, that's pretty obscure. I wonder if there's and FM soundtrack version included or what it sounds like on a SB card.

The pedant in me is bothered by the incorrect use of Red Book audio which is actually the standard that specifies pure audio CDs. What the Saturn uses is Yellow Book which covers both, CD-ROM (data and audio) and CD-ROM XA (streaming).

This is how it was described to me on another forum, but you are of course welcome to edit the list and PM me or post it here. The main goal was to highlight the best sequenced SCSP music.

I've now gone through the rest of the Saturn library and finished a first draft of a complete SCSP page. I recently discovered a page with some games I hadn't been able to find before though, and I'll be adding those soon. There's probably about 100+ tracks not uploaded anywhere on their own to be found here, so enjoy! minirevver.weebly.com/ymf292saturn-music.htmlminirevver.weebly.com/audio-formats-in-saturn-games.htmlAny help with the games that won't load in yabause is appreciated. I'll probably go through those one more time with the yaba sanshiro emulator later, or look at a real hardware solution. Edit: Added SCSP music to the yearly lists: minirevver.weebly.com/vgm-1994.html

Since it'll get lost in the discussion in another forum thread, I decided to incorporate my comments on individual OSTs from 1985-1989 into the yearly lists pages. I wouldn't mind posting other people's thoughts as well if there's an interest in that, just try to keep the main criteria in mind. Enjoy! minirevver.weebly.com/vgm-1985.htmlEdit: Been adding comments to 1980-1991 in the last week or so.

Though it’s odd that a super cd would solely use chiptunes outside of the intro, Gotzendiener makes excellent use of the PC-Engine’s audio capabilities. vgmrips.net/packs/pack/goetzendiener-pc-engine-super-cd-rom2 The tone is somber, serious and scary. It fits the on-screen action quite nicely, and the cave maze music really adds a sense of isolation and loneliness. Somebody made an acoustic guitar rendition it: youtu.be/qsWmRepgZGU

Yeah it's pretty good, nice flutes there. It's already on the list though (best of the rest) but I guess I can move it upwards a little. Its arrangements are pretty sparse and there's no percussion.
