www.hardcoregaming101.net/bustagroove/bustagroove.htmA series of rhythm games that arrived on the PS1 in the wake of Parappa the Rapper, they seem quaint and simple nowadays, but the weird characters and catchy music has still earned this series a small but faithful following.

Fun old series that's hard as hell to find copies of in the West, nowadays. I would probably suggest mentioning some of the clones/similar/rip-offs, depending on how close you would deem the "dance-off" subgenre of rhythm games to be. Puyo Puyo DA! and Cool Cool Toon might be different enough, but someone needs to have frank details of the failing that is Konami's BaM Knock-Off, "Dance! Dance! Dance!" (not related to DDR)

The author had mentioned that Dance! Dance! Dance! was awfully similar. I've heard even that Britney Dance Beat game had some similarities.

Actually, Britney's Dance Groove on PS2 was also developed by METRO. IIRC it also uses the same engine. It's not nearly as in-depth or good at all, though.
I have Dance! Dance! Dance! and it's a pretty bad carbon copy.
I wrote some blurbs on them, but I'm not quite sure if that would bloat the articles.

Hearing that it's also from the same devs is a nice bit of trivia for Britney. And looking at footage did make it seem competently made if painfully mediocre. And I wouldn't worry too much about bloat if you keep the details on both down to a handful of paragraphs contrasting them to BaM/G (e.g. how D!D!D! didn't use motion capture and it's characters and music are uninspired, but allows playback of any CD). With about 4 screenshots apiece, a screenshot and mention of the GBA Britney game, zero character profiles, and possibly a mention of other competitive dancing games with weird characters like Cool Cool Toon and Puyo Puyo DA! (maybe a screenshot each) and you have a shorter 4th page dedicated to 2+ games.

That type of trivia though isn't overbloating an article; it sometimes is great to give more context from other games. You should definitely add those two games (had no idea that the Britney Spears game was developed by the same developer).
