ZenithianHero The three scenarios of Shining Force 3 are three individual games. They were released separately, sold at full price, and can be played independently of each other (you'll be missing context, but it can still be done - recurring characters will come at preset levels). They're also each as long as previous Shining Force games or longer. Theoretically, Sega could license the complete fan translations, as XSEED did with I think Oath in Felghana. Though I agree with you that it's veeeeeery unlikely they'd do that. You're right, Revenge of Death Adder has never had a console release (AFAIK). At least it's easily, and very well, emulated. By "that fighting game", do you mean Golden Axe: The Duel? That'd be worth a re-release, too. It's actually pretty decent. Does Sega own the Working Designs translation for Dragon Force? Very unlikely, but they could probably license it from Gaijinworks or whoever does. And the fan translation for the sequel, even. Also unlikely for obvious financial reasons. Finally, maybe SpikeOut did well in the Japanese arcades? Their arcades remained much more active than ours for a very long time, and considering SpikeOut had a Team Battle and weapon-based fantasy spin-off released, one playable character re-used in Zombie Revenge, and a X-BOX sequel, it must have made at least some money somewhere. Too bad it wasn't just ported to the Dreamcast back in the day.

If we were to get some classic beat 'em ups like Streets of Rage 2 or some more obscure ones like Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder I'd love to see online multiplayer added like the Capcom Beat 'em Up Bundle did recently. That'd totally make these games instant buys.

Zombie Revenge wiki pages make no reference to her. In fact HotD Wiki said Rikiya is the only character to appear in more than one game. houseofthedead.wikia.com/wiki/Rikiya_BusujimaI would love to see Spikeout series get more exposure. Zombie Revenge is a cool game too.

I don't think even the HG101 article about Zombie Revenge mentions her being playable in the SpikeOut series. It's there in plain sight, yet no one seems to know about it. I'd love to write an article about SpikeOut, but my computer's not strong enough to handle SuperModel 3 without some lag and I don't have an Xbox to play the Dimps-made sequel no one seems to like. In a similar vein, though more justifiably obscure, Kazan, the ninja from the Jaleco beat-'em-up Brawl Brothers, had his own arcade side-scroller before BB called Ninja Kazan.

Two news, we are getting Phantasy Star on Nov 15th according to a Japanese interview. www.gonintendo.com/stories/321650-sega-ages-phantasy-star-hitting-switch-in-north-america-and-euroAlso from the article, NAOMI arcade games are running on Switch. Seems reasonable because Dreamcast is already running too. /photo/1 Notable titles include Crazy Taxi, Cosmic Smash, Zombie Revenge, the original Monkey Ball, Slashout, Puyo Puyo Fever, Samba de Amigo, Toy Fighter, Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram, WaveRunner GP. No luck here but maybe they will team up with Sega for Power Stone or Cannon Spike.

Hey, if a re-release of Power Stone or Cannon Spike does indeed happens then, that would be really cool to see, especially if then can revive Gun Beat (an unreleased NAOMI game by Treasure)

I'm not sure why you'd play Puyo Puyo 1 these days, but Tsu is good news. The only thing I miss in Puyo Puyo Tetris is an arcade mode a la Tsu, so it'd complement that game nicely.

Gain Ground is next for Japan. Dec 27th. Based on the Arcade version. Doesn't look like there is a lot new, there is a helper feature that is a rewind function? Other than that there is a vertical orientation option and leaderboards. www.siliconera.com/2018/12/20/sega-ages-gain-ground-will-appear-in-the-japanese-eshop-next-week/I'm not sure why you'd play Puyo Puyo 1 these days, but Tsu is good news. PP1 may be there just to give fans the option to try out the origins of the series, it doesn't have the garbage block offset therefore the gameplay is at the very base of the formula. It is secretly one of the more played games in the West because of the localization meddling but no reason to pick it up unless they pull a double whammy and include the MSX/Famicom or Mean Bean.

Since this is a Nintendo exclusive series, maybe Kirby's Avalanche isn't out of the question either. Doubtful but it might give it some extra draw.
