Don't know if anyone here follows this LP channel, but I've been a fan since 2013 and while I don't watch every single video they put out, for me this is coming out of nowhere, for all I knew everything was business as usual.
It's a real shame, in particular their October "Shitstorm" marathon of horror games gave me something to look forward to every year, it's pretty unreal for them to just call it quits so suddenly.
But while I don't want to sound to bitter over this, I can only assume that Pat is the reason why, I always got the impression he could be kind of a hothead and asshole, would love to know what exactly went wrong though.

Could this be a reaction to that new bill, Article 13 or whatever, that has a bunch of people worried?

I never watched SBF, but I guess this is one reason why Matt McMuscles is doing more his own thing now with video series like "Wha Happun?"

Could this be a reaction to that new bill, Article 13 or whatever, that has a bunch of people worried? I don't think so, something personal went down it seems, rumor has it it happened while they were recording a video for Smash Bros Ultimate. There was a recent "Saturday Morning Scrublords" video where Pat voiced a lot of displeasure at the state of the channel, I interpreted that as just the usual self deprecating humor though. As is often the case with these things, I'm sure money had something to do with it. I never watched SBF, but I guess this is one reason why Matt McMuscles is doing more his own thing now with video series like "Wha Happun?" I've really enjoyed Matt's solo channel, but it's still not gonna be the same without these guys playing games together anymore. I could understand wanting to put the main channel on the backburner a little bit, but quitting completely is a shocker, especially considering it's rare that web videos just up and stop like this in general. I've been bummed out about this news ever since I heard it, what a sour note to end the year on. It's also especially shocking and bitterly ironic that it happened on the eve of two games that seemed tailor made just for them, DMC5 and RE2 Remake.

I think the only videos of theirs that I ever watched were the XBLIG series. And what videos they are.
