City Connection acquires Zerodiv and Psikyo IPs

City Connection, aka "Jaleco 2.0" now fully owns Zerodiv who also has the rights to Psikyo titles.

Zerodiv was established by Takayuki Harakami, a former staff members of the arcade game development studio Psikyo, and has locations in Tokyo, Fukushima, and Miyagi. As a development company, Zerodiv has developed many titles published by outside companies, as well as supplied system engineering services. It has also released 12 Psikyo era titles for Switch via the Nintendo eShop.

City Connection is hoping to expand their development output by the help of Zerodiv and not only reviving Jaleco IPs, but also Psikyo's IPs they now own.

Hopefully so. The physical collection with the game should still be set to release. I guess now we know why Volume 3 isn't released already.

Jaleco has a bunch of little gems ripe for remakes and sequels. Battle Unit Zeoth, Dragonseeds, Carrier, Rushing Beat, Fortified Zone, Rod Land (especially since they brought back Soldam)...

Finally some new info on Strikers 2020 a few days ago. It was from a live stream that is probably much more informative if you speak Japanese, but Gematsu has the relevant screenshots from the stream.
