Neat. SMB was written in 6502 assembler, so I wonder how similar the code is for the 6510. I’m not a programmer, so I would have no clue.
It seems like they’re running a PAL rom in NTSC mode, too. The music seems too fast.

I've been talking to the developer of the Commodore 64 port and he was deathly afraid of Nintendo. Apparently the big n have had their eyes on him for a long time just waiting for him to release it

Apparently the big n have had their eyes on him for a long time just waiting for him to release it I understand that Nintendo doesn’t want anything out there that cheapens their brand, and that’s the main reason they chase some of this stuff down. But I really doubt this experiment was going to cut in to their smb sales on the switch. People used to get away with this. Remember Mega Man for the PC Engine?
