Mass Effect Classes: WHICH SHEP IS BEST SHEP

Been replaying the Mass Effect trilogy due to wanting to write a book about the franchise, and that means six full trilogy plays with every class because I am a crazy person. Which are your favorites and why? What tricks did you pick up worth trying in each game?

For ME1, Adept ended up being my fave, with soldier a close second solely for how broken the assault rifle is. Singularity and lift break the difficulty apart completely, especially if you picked the assault rifle perk and get high end weapons. Tech powers were limited and combat powers were basically useless with all the upgrades you can use, so biotics ended up being the most useful powers...but powers kind of became pointless after a few levels because of how much damage a properly modded gun can do.

For ME2, I think I enjoyed the sentinel and infiltrator most, with soldier basically a sentinel with more weapon options but no fun biotic nonsense. I've tried engineer and adept a bit and engineer managed to be pretty fun with your options to control the field, while adept was just frustrating due to the terrible way projectile pathfinding worked in this one, making it useless against enemies who use cover. Vanguard has some fun nonsense you can do with charge, but his true form wouldn't come until ME3. Still, getting the krogan shotgun as a vanguard was possibly the most fun I've had ever?

In ME3, I'm only managed to try the combo classes. Sentinel is now kind of terrible, as you actively have to turn off tech armor instead of letting it get blown apart for a free AOE attack that buys you time to reform or continue the attack. This really screwed up my rhythm. Vanguard is just the best here, thanks to the game basically giving you an infinite combo for some insane reason. Most fights just became charge and AOE fist hits done in constant succession because my shields and power recharge became instantaneous at max levels. Infiltrator continued being a reliable sniping class that lets you Be Spicy and cloak sneak for a melee strike.

Any suggestions for the base class runs? What powers go best with them. Already using geth shield in ME2 for the soldier, plan to use dominate with my engineer.
