All of this Raquetball talk has made me think of Super Gloveball for the NES that you used with the Powerglove. It also makes me think of Furball's Squash minigame in Tiny Toons: Buster Busts loose. And that brings to mind Tiny Toons All Star Sports. Then Loony Tunes Basketball......whew....Raquetball just blew my mind in like 5 seconds...

I have this stunning notion that Street Racquetball was originally going to be Street Tennis, but then they realised that required an audience and a bigger environment. lol probably. I wanna get this game just because it looks so stupidly fun. Some little kid i know has it. I should ask him for it.

I guess "Softball" doesn't exactly count, but Dusty Diamond’s All-Star Softball for NES was a little different.
Ball Blazer Champions for Playstation was some kind of futuristic sport.
Oh man...and how could I forget Super Monkeyball!? That had bowling, boxing (sorta), all kinds of sports...AND MONKEYS FTW!

No list of weird sports games is complete without Atari's Cyberball.

It's really exactly what it is, ninja and golf. You fight a dragon to finish your putt.

Oh yeah there are some billiards games, too. Master System's Parlor Games, NES' Side Pocket, PC-E's dreadful Break-In.

There was this street basketball game for the Genny where you could knock down your opponents just by running over them.
