No idea, but I was certain the game itself felt/looked a bit like a budget title.

It's not the price it's the graphical apperance of the product that'd dictate the review..plus I wish I could use that version..it's $80 Australian which is $10-20 less then the average title.

Not entirely, though it does seem that way in many cases these days. Games like Atelier Iris cost $50 when it came out (About retail for a U.S. game where I live, Virginia, unless it's a special edition,etc.), and it was hardly what I'd call "splendid". It got fair reviews by most (fair as in 6-7.5+/10) and I "dislike" that game with a passion.
