I can pretty much only think of Zelda. Pikmin 4 maybe, but who knows if that'll actually release this year. I'm sure if I owned a PS4 or XSX I had some other ones to mention.

I didn't think there was much of anything I was anticipating but you guys reminded me of some things lol.
Recently Armored Core 6 was announced. Nice to see From is going back to the series, it used to be the main thing they were known for before DarkSouls showed up and just took over so I'm eager to see them go back to one of thier work horses... I just hope not too much influence from Souls and stuff gets into it. Hell, I've had an itch to get back into the series but was just waiting for suitable emulation options to show up. Now that I have a Steam Deck I plan to make it a project this year of going through as many as I can stomach.
I'm tepidly interested in Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection but it may be a similar situation to the Castlevania collection where I have them all on my 3DS already and the Switch is only semi portable. However I may spring for it if the rumor that the removed Boktai cross over content is restored for 5 and 6. I could get translation patches for the japanese roms but in my experience making cia forwarders with patched games tend to be a pain in the ass so we'll see.
I've been listening to one of my fav podcasts Retrograde Amnesia work through the first two Suikoden and it's making me want to play them myself, because I'm a weirdo that gets more motivated to play things when I've had the story spoiled lol. As such the I'm gonna keep an eye out for the remasters and Eiyuden Chronicle too. But if the remasters aren't up to snuff I'll just install them on my 3DS.
And while they are a long ways off I'm looking forward to seeing developments on Penny Blood, a spiritual successor to Shadow Hearts and to a lesser extent its sister game Armed Fantasia, a new take on Wild Arms. Both series were my fav jrpgs so I'm happy they're getting another chance, much as I began to hate the direction Wild Arms took down the line and this seems to be continuing that.
Otherwise the thing I'm actually most excited about is developments in emulation. Now that I have my Steam Deck mostly set up I'm just waiting on progress to be made on Xbox, 360 and PS3 emulators. Heck I think PS3 is pretty possible with it it just take a little more tinkering I'm not up to doing now. Supposedly someone is on the verge of getting PS1 emulation on 3DS to be about flawless so now I can finally get a couple games I've really, really wanted to play on my 3DS running. Hopefully.
Otherwise I've been listening to a lot of podcasts about rpgs and its making me want to get into them again. In fact with the plethora of platformers and shooters I played all last year I'm a little burnt out. As such I decided to make a little new years resolution if you will and I'm gonna try to dedicate this year to finishing longer form games like rpgs and such. Soon as I finish a couple things I've started and the dust finally settles from my recent move I'm gonna get on that and I'm actually pretty excited for it lol.

I think I'll be going the other way around, personally. Less JRPG's, and when I do play them they won't be the longer ones. I definitely feel a bit burnt out on longer games and have plenty of nice action games to get through. I haven't gotten around to setting up PS3 and 360 on my Steam Deck yet, but my brother has on his and some games ran buttery smooth. I think these are very usable at the moment even if it's a game by game basis.

Poking around more, the unannounced game was probably just for whatever they're doing on Tears of the Kingdom. There's a rumour going around now that there's a remake of Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and that Monolithsoft are developing it. At least that would be something else from them should the rumour turn out to be true. They did a nice job with the original Xenoblade a couple of years ago. Pinch of salt, obviously.
