I know we've done the Good DS games thing before. This is more a.....games for somebody who hasn't owned a Nintendo handheld since the OG gameboy.

Have you read the article about it?
If not... just try it and see for yourself. You'll be hooked! Never before has law been so much fun. After playing the game for a few hours, you'll feel like you're really involved in the case... you'll really be scratching your head trying to solve the puzzle... and you'll be looking around yourself looking for tables to slam on and people to point at and yell. It's really something.
It's not realistic law. That's why it's good. You do all the detective work yourself.. and finding your client not guilty is a very rewarding fealing.
Trust me man... the game is gold.

I got a DS laying around with New Super Mario Bros. I played thru the first world, and had to put it down. Very boring. I have played tons of Mario games, but this one is just a blend of Mario 3, World, and others. Nothing new (yes, I know, the stupid giant mushroom. Excuse me while I barf). I was so disappointed.

If you don't wanna spend money the least you could do is try the first case in the fan-translated Gyakuten Saiban 3, it'll give you a pretty good idea of how the games work.

I might Everyone raves about it but since there's like NO replay Value and I don't have a gamefly account maybe I will try it that way.

Pffft, replay value is overrated. You'll watch a good movie more than once, why not play a game again? It's this "replay value" mentality that "killed" the adventure game and is slowly doing the RPG market in again.

I'd play something like Chrono Trigger more than once.
and should we really compare games to movies?
Last I checked only a handful of movies had multiple endings

So your saying that you wouldn't play trough Chrono Trigger again if it didn't have multiple endings? Don't get me wrong, re-play value is nice and all but I don't need it to play greats as Monkey Island or Psychonauts over and over again. Replay value does not necsiserily make me wana play the game again, I don't care if Iv'e yet to unlock the last 42% of Soul Calibur III or seen all the Chrono Trigger endings.

Then there are games where you play it once everything is spoiled and playing it again is kinda ruined because you know what to do and the path too too linear.
